Well team, the new Optimist year is here. We have been working hard in preparation for our turn at the helm, while assisting Governor Craig and the children of Iowa in all the many projects that have taken place.

Please join me in giving a huge thank you to Governor Craig and his team of fantastically dedicated Optimists as they showed their LOVE through everything they did.

It will be impossible to calculate the number of lives changed for the positive during this past LOVE year.

Announcement Date

21 September 2008 - Beta version of 2008-09 District Site. Many functions not implemented yet, but feel free to look around.

20 September 2008 - First Quarter 2008 Registration needs to be done by mail for now. Technical issues are being worked on.

20 September 2008 - Iowa Distrist Newsletter September 2008 Edition. It should be in your mailbox already or will be soon.

26 July 2008 - OI Foundation Auction Reminder: Bring your silent auction items to the Convention; if you are not able to attend, send the items with your Lt. Governor. The auction will conclude shortly after the Governor's Banquet Saturday night. Contact Jim Boyd if you have any questions.
